Ah, the countless number of beauty products we women tend to use to stay gorgeous. The average female probably has upwards of 20, 30, or even more beauty care products in their bathrooms.
Creams, powders, conditioners, spritzes, gels, depilatories, lotions, foundations, wax … the list of beauty products we depend on every day seems never-ending.
Which Beauty Products do I Really Need?
In my estimation, the most important beauty products to have are those for your skin. Cosmetics can enhance your look, but no mascara will distract from a scaly complexion, and no blush will cover up an acute case of acne. Yet some women spend hundreds of dollars on makeup and neglect their most visible feature.
The type of skin care products you should use depends on your skin type. Those with oily, blemish-prone skin should focus on keeping their skin clean and pores unclogged, while people with dry skin should concentrate on adding and locking in moisture. Most skin care products specify on the label which skin type it is most appropriate for.
I would be remiss not to mention the one beauty product that is essential for everyone … Water! Drinking plenty of water keeps your skin hydrated and flushes out toxins that will ultimately affect the way you look. And best of all, its free!
