Refined white sugar and flour are known to exacerbate PMS symptoms, as are foods high in fat content. Replacing these with whole grain foods can help with PMS. Avoiding salty foods and drinking eight glasses of water a day reduces bloating. In addition, regular exercise is also recommended and can help with mood swings.
